Poem: Matrixification

 

Matrixification

 

electric Christ lies near virtual Vishnu, 

twitchy Wicca and streamy Buddha.

and in response, we say 

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!  

for each every idol nude under the voyeur-yawn.

for each and every prayer that twittered till it bled.

 

we are especially tired of questions

about who should keep barcodes out of jungles and rainforests.

about who will monitor the cartoons animals

which slink cutesy in conga lines of viral shorts across pulsing tubes.

 

we want to know the answers

and we answer oh yes yes yes

about how deep the faceless sex can go,

about how far to spread our lobes 

for fancier tokens and upgraded sighs.

we want more and more seductive circuits

which screw down buds, undress avatars, swallow screenshots and 

turn our nervous systems into cellphones.

we ask and answer oh yes yes yes,

 will cashless crypto$ aspire

in megafantastical gameworld multiverses

to magnify the already ramified matrixification?

 

and can love
 

escape the virtual prison of exploits and apps,

all the bots and the chat-artificial I-modes?

can it dodge the gamer guns, toxic macho,

evade apps, clicks, taps and DM-

twisted texts to unsink itself from layers of 

webby-crawly sticky cookie threads and thereby

rise up to become everyone's favorite dice roll?
