Our relationship to the program

As virtual reality proceeds, it becomes feasible that our world is of such nature, only more advanced. If so, we operate within the same context as an exquisite computer game, and the question arises: what is our relation to the program?

  1. It's often said that our brains are like computers (only more advanced). I think it's more accurate to say that computers are representations of how our brains work. The same could be said of virtual reality programs. Our relationship to them is the one that we confer upon them - and they represent some aspect of our nature. Exquisite computer games operate within the larger context of 'we'.
