60 days into the Israeli blockade of Gaza, mass starvation.

 Two million people starving to death in Gaza.  Even the USA newspapers cover it once it a while, without mentioning the word "genocide":

“To the Israeli authorities, and those who can still reason with them, we say again: Lift this brutal blockade,” said Tom Fletcher, the U.N. humanitarian chief. He added: “To the civilians left unprotected, no apology can suffice. But I am truly sorry that we are unable to move the international community to prevent this injustice.”

Will two million people starve to death, thinner and more skeletal while the rest of us world simply watches?   The answer may well be yes.

Fascists like Trump and Netanyahu don't care.  Just as Stalin and Mao didn't care about starving tens of millions of people to death.  Many of us protest. But we can't change the needle.  Too many people support these Evil rulers with a cult-like fanaticism.  As has always been the case, insecure people flock to false messiahs.

Behold humanity. Its ugliness and wickedness, cloaked in denialism and banality.  Witness, too, the paucity of our hope:  within the overarching contagion of darkness, a scatter of flickering candles.
